Good job addressing the criticism and the stereotype of you guys being "Enfield haters."
I noticed that sports fans (in general, not just USC Basketball) are just intolerant of criticism and only want to hear positive things. This is particularly true on some of the sports teams I follow on Reddit where critical comments are downvoted to oblivion when some of the comments are fair criticism of the sports teams' front offices, players, or coaches. Yes there are some comments that are extremely negative, but often many of these comments are supported by actual facts and statistics yet people don't want to hear them.
I visit this site mainly for the podcasts but I appreciate that you guys welcome criticism.
Eh, I thought the "defensive soapbox" was unnecessary. Chase and Nick's criticisms are well founded, they shouldn't feel the need to get defensive.
Regardless, I don't think Melton or any unconditional "Enfield lover" else cares too much what's being discussed on the pod. Melton is chiefly concerned with folks on the other board who feel the need to point out every mistake a player makes, and little else.
There was once a point where every time Max touched the ball he was being verbally harassed. Kinda ridiculous.
