  • So Andy stuck with the 2 Big lineup all Half

Even when Washington went zero Bigs.

As a result, Terrell Brown had favorable matchups all Half, either be Max or easily able to switch onto one of our Bigs.

Max can absolutely not stay with Brown. It is unreal we have not made an adjustment yet. You have to use Boogie, Reese or Kobe on Brown. Maybe Ethan.

Brown is a tough guard but the second half adjustments seemed to keep him in check. Ugly game. The Turnovers were frustrating and they looked rattled. Another minute in the game we probably lose but Ill take the W.

I actually didn't think Max looked that bad on Brown - was he bad in H2 as well?

Defense on Brown was much better. When Max was matched on him, we aggressively doubled all ball screens. That made a big difference. Max still couldn’t stay in front of Brown, but enough of a team adjustment and effort was made to shit Brown down.

Yeah, I liked that - when he drove too far to the side it also looked like we just kinda switched him to make sure someone was always in front of him.

Made his life much more difficult and made him work a lot harder. Making kids tired has a real effect in bball.
