Is it a make or break game on the season? No. Team Rankings Bracketology project currently has USC at 100% to make the NCAA Tournament. So, no, this is not make or break.
What is at stake is whether USC still remained ranked in the AP Poll -- a loss to Wazzu makes that uncertain -- and whether Andy Enfield can really beat the biggest monkey on his back about road games in the 2nd Half of the conference season.
More than that, however, winning Saturday will go a long way in determining whether USC can actually win the Pac-12 for the first time in three and a half decades.
I'll comment on the matchup more soon. But Wazzu is a very well-coached team with some really good young talent.
