I have been following USC basketball since mid 1970's (yes, Gus Williams days) but last night's win against Kansas was one of the greatest win in the program's history (perhaps USC's win vs. Kentucky in 2001 to put the team in Elite Eight was arguably better). Next opponent Oregon will be a tough test despite USC beating the Ducks surprisingly easily during the regular season. I badly want USC to advance past Oregon to set up a showdown against Gonzaga as Evan Mobley's defense presence may be enough to shock Gonzaga's undefeated team. When I created my screen name of Final4 couple of years ago, I was saying that USC basketball reaching the Final Four in March Madness was one of my bucket list wishes and the team is now only 2 wins away from making it happen! Congrats to Coach Andy Enfield who is the best thing to have happened to USC basketball despite some unjust criticisms he has taken in the past.
