Assuming no cancelations due to covid, both games should be competitive.

Ucla has historically been tough in McKale; and that's with thousands of hostile fans.

Oddly, following the loss of length with Chris Smith out for the season, the Bruins handled the length and toughness of Colorado well, but struggled with short and scrappy ASU. The Wildcats are closer to Colorado than ASU.

The way ucla looked against asu, one would think beating Arizona would be an uphill climb. But this ucla team knows how to win games that it looks like they should lose. I'm picking ucla.

Usc vs ASU is a battle of turnovers vs rebounds. ASU is +7.7 turnovers per 100 possessions --- perhaps the best marks in the country. Meanwhile, USC is a very mediocre +1.4 turnovers per 100 possessions overall and worst in the conference -7.3 in conference games. If ASU is +10 in turnover margin, it will win.

Rebounds is a different story. ASU has a -7.6 rebounding deficit per game -- one of the worst in the country. USC's overall per game rebounding margin is +6.1. Plus ASU will likely be without its starting center, Jalen Graham.

And then there is shooting percentage: ASU's eFG% defense is atrocious overall, though better in conference play. USC has one of the best eFG% offenses in. The. Ountry, and the best in conference play.
