The Coppin State Eagles are a mediocre minor conference program that finished just under .500 overall, but just over .500 in conference play, last season.  The Eagles (as they are known) played 4 BCS schools, plus another few Mid Majors, last season — losing all those games, and virtually all by more than 15 points.
