Story: Originally from Pomona, Ca., Shaqquan averaged 9.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.0 steals per game as a freshman at Mater Dei H.S. in joining with Katin Reinhardt to lead the Monarchs to a 32-3 record and the 2011 California Division I CIF state title. After transferring to Taft H.S. (and sitting out a year), Shaqquan moved up north, where he averaged 19.7 points, 8.5 rebounds and 7.5 assists en route to leading Rainier Beach to the Class 3A title for the second consecutive season and earning 2013-14 Washington Player of the Year honors. Aaron is a two-time first-team AP Class 3A all-state selection and was ranked No. 26 nationally by 247Sports.com, 27th by Scout.com, 30th by Rivals.com, and No. 33 by ESPN. Aaron was signed out of high school by Louisville and appeared in 23 games for the Cardinals. It didn’t work out, and Shaqquan moved on.

Metu was ranked the No. 31 prospect in the 2015 class by Scout.com, No. 47 by Rivals.com and No. 48 by ESPN.com.
