  • Alabama’s Sexton only suspended 1 game

    This should create a precendant for USC and Melton.

    This is a bit trickier, since Sexton was actually initially ruled ineligible by the ncaa. Melton’s status is more in limbo.

      Are we sure Alabama didn't proactively rule him ineligible and then apply for his reinstatement?

      USC has taken similar action before where they rule a player ineligible (Leonard, Baxter) and then apply for reinstatement

        I believe Alabama did rule him ineligible and then made a report to the NCAA.

        I'm not sure if we've done that. We also may still be in the investigative stage. You can assume our Compliance Department is going to be very, very cautious.
