The owner of uscbasketball.com finally had enough of my non-conformist takes and banned me for having a different opinion than him.
What enraged him this time was in a thread titled “Does This Win Buy CAE Another Year?” the original poster said “If this was the first year under a new coach that ended with a losing record but a big upset over a top 5 team, I think fans would be excited about the future. Does CAE get the same benefit of the doubt from the typical SC fan?”
I responded by asking “If you look at the players currently on the roster, the one who are definitely or likely not coming back next season, and the players coming in, what is the rational basis for being excited about the future after this season comes to an end?”
The site owner the interjected that fans like me were “negative hater sad sacks” and none of us knew who would be on the roster.
When I responded that this wasn’t exactly a great reason for excitement, the site owner deleted my post and permanently banned me.
Discussion over.
Hoping for better discussions here.
