With regards to Kobe getting minutes before Reese...
A commenter noted on the other board that "knowledge of the playbook" is what currently limits minutes for Reese and Kobe.
I'd bet Kobe just had better practices than Reese and is being rewarded with more minutes. It's clear the coaching staff isn't influenced much by on/off numbers since Ethan would never be playing in that case.
Kobe's minutes last week we're mediocre at best, unfortunately. -
Yeah he's just not ready to play. I definitely like his potential as a facilitator and defender. Right now, he's just too turnover prone and not a good enough shooter.
