  • Andy Enfield and Maryland/Lousiville

Nothing much more substantive other than I know Jeff Goodman to be one of the more reputable writers.

I don't have access, but supposedly this article says AE wants the job.

I've seen other articles also link Andy Enfield to Louisville. All of this is conjecture at this stage of the season, there's no recruiting advantage to do the coaching search now. But it sounds like AE is one of the hottest names in the coaching market currently.

If AE does leave (and I actually think it's a slim shot, I think the USC job is better than Maryland or Louisville), the other hot names being bandied about are Rick Pitino, Shaka Smart and Wes Miller, all of whom I think would fit in here (Pitino obviously has baggage).

If either of those 2 schools goes after him hard then I think he's gone

I would love Wes Miller but I worry that if we were to get him, he’ll bounce as soon as possible to UNC if they decide not to keep Hubert Davis.
