Chase and Nick, a couple of questions for you. (1) Would Bronny be a McDonalds All-American if his last name were Smith? I've never seen him play, so I don't have a clue, but I'm just wondering if he made it on the merits. (2) Having watched the UCLA in person and then again on replay, I was surprised how un-athletic the Bruins appear to be. Singleton is a good shooter, but that's all, Bailey takes forever to get his shot off, and other than Campbell it seems like they have nobody who can separate (and of course he's tiny). Is that a correct observation, if which case they wouldn't seem like a real Fianl Four team, or did I just catch them on a bad night? (3) Cronin appears to be a bigger whiner than the average coach. Is that his reputation or, once again, did I just catch him on a bad night?

I wanna touch on a couple of these questions because I think they're interesting:

Bronny - didn't used to look great for his ranking, but more recent highlights have him looking really good. The answer is, probably wouldn't be a MCD-AA, but he can definitely play.

On UCLA, Tyger definitely has some athleticism, and Jacquez has his signature little turn around jumpers and pump fakes, but definitely isn't a blow by guy. Clark and Singleton definitely don't have the elite athleticism either. However, I thought bailey did look pretty athletic against us and got to the rim pretty nicely a few times. Bona has good explosiveness.

my question submission: In your next podcast, please have your usual Xs and Os discussion on the UCLA game. Especially, why the team was so bad the first half and so good the second half. Was it really due to adjustments or was is just that Boogie got hot and we made our FTs?

I'm very impressed by the team's play this season (which should've been a rebuilding year). So are we playing far above our ability now (due to luck or great team chemistry, coaching, etc) or finally up to our ability?

      FO!
