  • End of Regular Season On-Court / Off-Court Numbers

    Data courtesy of HoopLens.

Here is our annual look at how the team performed when individual players were on the court, or off the court. The top performer overall was Kobe Johnson, though in a virtual tie with boogie and Drew. Our offense was best when Vince and Malik were in the game. Our defense was best when Joshua Morgan was in the game.

Are those Hornery numbers a misnomer because of the sample size or did he actually outperform all of our expectations? Curious if he can became a legit rotational piece next year.

I think the story with Harrison is that there were games (like UCLA at Pauley) where he came in and caused a massive improvement with the team. In those games, we would let him ride.

In other games (like at Eugene), he was less effective right away, and we would pull him.

So the key with Hornery is knowing when to use him -- because he can have a BIG positive impact when it's working.
