    Source on Assistant Coaches for the Musselman Staff; UPDATE: Assistants Hired

    Musselman’s 3 senior coaches at Arkansas this past season were:

    - Keith Smart (MOP for Indiana in 1986),

    - Anthony Ruta (who has been with Muss since ASU a decade ago), and

    - Todd Lee (former head coach at South Dakota)

    Ruta and Lee are no longer employees of Arkansas. Smart still is, but I’m told he will not be on Calipari’s staff.

    Muss’s two junior coaches this past season were:

    - his son Michael, and

    - former NBA player Ronnie Brewer Jr.

    Brewer is still recruiting for Arkansas.

    I would expect Ruta and Lee to join Muss at SC, but I can’t be sure.

      He might be the only point of contact now for recruits. I’m assuming the other guys are helping with the scout.

        It appears three of the five assistant coaches (all from the Arkansas staff) have been formally hired by USC. I'd expect Muss to try to supplement Ruta, Lee and his son Michael with two coaches familiar with the local recruiting scene.
