As a stat crusher, you must realize that three-point shooting percentage is about 84% within the control of the offense, right? I mean Ken Pomeroy crushes stats for a living and that's what he thinks.

84% is a lot.You’d think we’d see far more variance on game by game basis, and a much tighter bell curve within conferences. We don’t really see that. For USC, through the first 13 games, USC had given up 40% shooting from 3 only once. Then the last 4 games, 3 point shooting was over 40% each game. Today it was over 40% until Utah missed its final 3.
